What you need for this hairstyle:

  • Hairbrush
  • Hairspray
  • Hair Tie/Elastic
  • Bobby Pins

How to do this hairstyle:

Step 1: If your hair is wet then blow dry your hair straight. If your hair is dry then you need to straighten it.

Step 2: Put your favorite oil treatment on your ends but don’t put too much we don’t want it to look greasy!

Step 3: Use your hairbrush to get through all of the knots and begin to brush your hair backwards to the back of your head.

Step 4: You may pull your hair up as high as you want it or as low as you want it. It is however you want your hair to look. You now will pull your hair up to a high point on your head and make sure that you have all hair back and then you want to secure that with an elastic.

Step 5: After you have your hair in a ponytail secured by that elastic you want to take a piece of hair and wrap that around your elastic so that it is hidden. Once you wrap your hair around that elastic then bobby pin that hair.

Step 6: To make sure that you don’t have flyways you need to apply your favorite hairspray that won’t leave your hair looking crunchy. A good hairspray to use would be Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray. Once you apply that hairspray comb your hair back.

Step 7: Quick run your straightener over your ponytail to make sure that it will stay straight for as long as it can!
